Last night was the 12th annual BET Awards and the night was filled with star studded celebrity appearances, musical performances, and of course, the winners of the night!

Some celebrities that walked the red carpet included, Meagan Good, Jamie Foxx, Tyler Perry, Usher, Kim Kardashian, and Faith Evans.

The BET Awards also remembered the late Whitney Houston in which Mariah Carey stepped out remembering her friend in an emotional speech. Along with an undeniable emotional tribute, performances included Monica, Brandy, Angela Basset, Houston's brother Gary, Chaka Khan, and the most emotional one of all, Houston's mother, Cissy.

Along with an unforgettable tribute for Whitney, musical performances throughout the night also had the crowd entertained with performances by Usher, Minaj, G.O.O.D, and D'Angelo.

Best performances hands down go to Brandy, Melanie Fiona and Monica.
